The Wild Phlox will be back at it slinging clay with a live wheel throwing demonstration at the NELA Food Bank’s 8th Annual Empty Bowls event on March 26th, from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Monroe Civic Center, located at 401 Lea Joyner Memorial Expy, Monroe, Louisiana 71201.

With the price of an all-inclusive event ticket ($40), guests can choose a beautiful bowl to take home as a reminder of all of the empty bowls in our community. A tasting of signature dishes will be served from over a dozen local restaurants.

The delicious food will be accompanied by live music from local musicians and numerous art and gift items available in the silent auction thanks to the generosity of local donors.

The goal of Empty Bowls is to raise awareness for hunger while also raising critical funds to provide food assistance to those struggling with hunger in our community.
